On
Thursday, January 10th, the PVVFD was dispatched to a
single-vehicle collision on Highway 41-A.
Engines 401, 405, and Squad 431 responded.
First-arriving units found a late-model pickup truck had
struck a tree head-on. The injured driver was
trapped.
Crews
extricated the patient by removing the driver's door
from the vehicle. Surprisingly, there was no air
bag deployment, despite the frontal impact.
The
patient was transported by Cheatham County EMS.
Pleasant View Police and Cheatham Co. Sheriff's
Department units were also on scene.
