On
January 27th, 2007, the PVVFD hosted a "Strategy and
Tactics" course taught by instructors from
1-Source Training Consultants.
The
one-day course was divided between a classroom session,
a preplan/walk thru
of the Dollar General store, and hands-on evolutions at
the training house on Hwy
49.
The
hands-on areas involved
hoseline selection and placement, primary
searches, victim rescues, a
MAYDAY situation, and Incident Management.
