31-Cent Scoop Night a Huge Success!

4-30-2008 Pleasant View Fire Department's Station 1 was converted into a Baskin Robbins for a night to host the second annual 31-Cent Scoop Night fundraiser for the National Fallen Firefighter's Foundation. Despite not having a Baskin Robbins store in Pleasant View, the department was selected to host the event because PVFD Chief Shane Ray was honored as one of America's 31 Favorite Firefighters. Firefighters and their families assumed the role of "scoopers" for the evening, and the community came out in a wonderful showing of support (and for the cheap ice cream!).  Ashland City Fire Department also participated by sending an engine company that helped out with all facets of the event. Thanks to Baskin Robbins, our volunteers, ACFD, and the community for making this night a huge success.
