On
the weekend of May 18th, PVVFD personnel participated in
the annual two-day TARS extrication certification class.
Lots of hands-on made this class a useful learning
experience for all involved.
This
also gave PVVFD personnel the opportunity to become
familiar with the new Holmatro extrication tools,
purchased with an AFG grant. The new tools will
complement the Amkus set already in-service, and gives
all first-due engines the capability of performing
vehicle extrication duties.
