5-7-2007

On May 7th, 2007, the PVVFD responded to a residential structure fire in Robertson County.

First-arriving units reported heavy fire showing from the A-side of the structure.  An interior attack was initiated from the C-side, stopping the progress of the fire, however; the entire home did sustain smoke and heat damage.

This home was not equipped with a residential fire sprinkler system.

Responding Pleasant View units included Engines 401 and 402, Tanker 415, and Squad 431.

Mutual-aid companies from Ashland City and Adams fire departments also responded.

This fire would be the first of two for the PVVFD, as they would respond on an automatic-aid structure fire with Ashland City later in the day.
