Our VISION is to be non-typical. Our MISSION is to serve because we care. Our VALUES guide us to do the right thing.

Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department (PVVFD) serves the cities of Pleasant View and Coopertown, as well as other portions of Cheatham and Robertson counties. This area covers over 200 square miles and includes approximately 31,000 citizens. The area is experiencing growth associated with its proximity to two of the largest cities in Tennessee, Nashville, and Clarksville. PVVFD is working progressively to grow with the area and to be prepared for the challenges such growth brings.

The department recognizes that along with visionary leadership, it is the abilities of the volunteers that have created a very progressive fire department. Area growth will place new demands on the department, especially in the area of life safety. The department’s Vision is to be non-typical, our Mission is to serve because we care and our Values guide us to do the right thing. Working together with these beliefs, it is possible for everyone involved to become more than they are individual. The challenges will be many, but the determination, dedication, and commitment of the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department and all members of this community ensure that we will all be a part of an increasingly brighter future.
