Mission Statement:  “To create a market for the widespread acceptance of competently installed automatic fire sprinkler systems in both new and existing construction, from homes to high-rise.”

The Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition was formed in 1996 in response to the tremendous need to inform the public about the life-saving value of home fire sprinkler protection.

The Residential Fire Safety Institute (RFSI) is a public interest group created in 1982 to promote fire-safe homes through built-in fire protection and fire safety education.

The Town of Pleasant View is proud to be the first municipality in the State of Tennessee to require fire sprinklers in one- and two-family dwellings.  To view a copy of the ordinance, click HERE.

In April, 1990 the City of Vancouver passed a by-law requiring all new residential construction in the City to be built with fire sprinklers installed.
