Roto Watch Class

Cheatham County EMS will be hosting an Operation Rotor Watch class with Air Evac 151 on August 25, 2026 at 18:00 at their Station 1 in Ashland City. The course is being offered on our behalf and will include a fly-in, which will allow us to be “hands-on” and learn everything we need to know. Attendees will also receive CEUs. Please let me know if you’d like to attend by August 20th so I can pass the numbers along to Air Evac and CCEMS.

CCEMS will have other offerings of Operation Rotor Watch courses later this year with other air ambulance providers and will continue in 2027. The plan is for us to conduct these courses more regularly with the three main air ambulance providers in our area (Vandy LifeFlight, HCA SkyLife, AirEvac) so that we have a better understanding of helicopter operations and the various air frames. Each of these companies operate different.
